ACT Practice

I studied for the ACT today because I take it tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Success and Productivity

I wrote and edited my college common app essay. I helped proofread a friend's college essay. I also looked at an e-mail I got about a Siemens Competition for advanced placement science, math, and English. Does that count as scholarship info? They just sent me an email. But I also looked at the Baylor University website and debated if I wanted to apply.

Today, I emailed the cofounder of Rae's Hope, Inc. where I will be volunteering tonight. I also worked on my thesis. I registered for an information session for Purdue University.

Thesis

I started researching my thesis, but I found a very small amount of useful information. Thus, I switched gears to continue working on my applications. I looked at the essay topics required for Apply Texas and continued working on my Common Application essay.

I looked through my email for scholarship offers and worked on my common app essay. 

Last class, I called about an opportunity to mentor young girls at an institution called Rae's Hope, Inc. I also searched college statistics, peer reviewed a friends essays for college, and worked on my Common App essay.

I started writing my common app essay, and finished the common application except for the writing. I helped my friend review her essay for common app. I started applying to Howard University and Spellman College via Common App.
